The existing ground floor plan was not adequate for the space required for the brief, a new second floor was added to accommodate three bedrooms and bathrooms. The ground floor was opened up to form an open plan concept Kitchen, dining, living and family room. Ground floor spaces were opened up to outdoor space in all directions. The open plan ground floor shares a double volume space that extends to the second floor bedroom’s circulation space.
